Happy Holidays

Yes, we know we're on the move a bit too soon, but there's some stuff we wanted you to hear now.

Rödsögården wants to thank our friends and fans for the year 2009 with a Christmas song. You can download the song for free here. There's also sheet music available for those who rather play than listen. This is our present to you! If you wish, please pay it forward by remembering your favorite charity. If you can't think of any check SOS for suggestions.

We'll also give out few T-Shirts, MP3 players and albums. There's only some left so if you want one send mail to toyshop@rodsogarden.com and name your favorite item and/or shirt size. If there's too many mails we'll draw lots. This is only valid today 1.12.2009.

Hyvät fanit ja ystävät. Haluamme kiittää teitä vuodesta 2009 jakamalla kanssanne joululaulumme. Voit ladata sen ilmaiseksi täältä. Henkilökohtaiseen soitto- ja laulunautintoon on saatavilla myös nuotit. Myös albumimme on kuultavissa kokonaisuudessan joulukuun ajan. Boys Are Stupid, We Know!

When we have rehearsals they're usually for the whole weekend and the days might last 16 hours. Sometimes our minds wander off and we find our selves making short stupid videos. They also tend to grow while filming. This was the case here too. Please remember: WE DON'T LIKE NOR ENCOURAGE VIOLENCE! But darn it, it's funny...

We never got this right. Maybe we'll post later some other ones....

A Near Miss

We'll start this adventure with a story about our recent trip to the MTV3* studios.

Our promoter had booked us an interview on the morning show Huomenta Suomi (Good Morning Finland). The show would air 8.45, but we had to be there 8.20 which is way too early for some unreliable musicians like us. Against all odds we actually made it on time and found ourselves waiting in the hall just like the janitor/receptionist told us to. After some time we got worried and wanted to make sure we were in the right place so we cosulted the receptionist not once but three times and every time the answer was: "Just wait there. You will be picked up!".

6 minutes before the show I couldn't belive we would still make it so I called the show. No one answered... 3 minutes before the airtime someone called back and we found out that we were in the wrong building! One would guess that a show that has almost a million viewers and several guests every morning would be so known by the company employees that something like this couldn't happen. Well it did. And of course to us.

And this is the course and reason of this blog. The unexpected events and thoughts of Rödsögården.
